Anamaria Schindler

Annamaria Schindler formerly sat on the LATAM Movement Health Regional Board, which focuses on Movement Health policy issues, its long-term goals, and overall positioning. Anamaria Schindler is a Regional Board Member and is responsible for Latin America at Ashoka. Anamaria served as Ashoka Global Co-President from 2005 to December 2007.
She has worked on building bridges between business and communities (business-social bridges), the Ashoka global business plan, and a global shared vision process.
She launched the Instituto Arapyaú in Brazil in 2008, a non-profit institution, dedicated to strengthening networks, organisations and projects that work on the front-line promoting sustainability.
Anamaria is a sociologist and has a Masters and a Doctorate degree in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil.
