We’re currently working with providers in 17 countries and collaborating with more than 180 leading experts from institutions and organisations, such as the national Ministries of Health and Harvard.
We believe that a great opportunity lies in genetic variation and biological function companies establishing long-term infrastructure in these 17 countries. All of them need to have some understanding of the genomics of their populations, particularly in relation to rare diseases, pharmacogenomics and precision cancer treatment. As such, there are existing approaches to building reference genomes on the agenda.
Overall, capacity-building competencies in biology will be crucial in and outside of health in the coming decades, and we want to assist you in playing a leading role.
